DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, July 12\, 2026 & \nSunday\, August 2\, 2026 \n​ \nOn Sunday\, July 12\, and Sunday\, August 2\, Noordwijk aan Zee will be all about “Living Statues.” That’s when the 10th edition of the Living Statues Festival will take place in Noordwijk. \nHave you ever seen a living statue? Or tried to be one yourself? It’s really hard to stand completely still the whole time and not let your surroundings distract you. \nA living statue is both subtle and surprising\, embodying humor\, emotion\, and expression. It captures the attention of passersby\, who stop in wonder. A living statue doesn’t simply stand still; it engages in a dialogue with the audience through movement. \nApproximately 30 living statues will perform at various locations along the coast\, including on Queen Wilhelmina Boulevard and in Hoofdstraat. They’ll showcase their talent and entertain the public with their wonderful acts. \nVarious mobile artists will also be displaying their skills. And along the route\, several street musicians will be showcasing their musical talents. \nVisitors can walk the route from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. \n​ \nAdmission is free!

From Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.\, paid parking applies at the Wantveld car park in Noordwijk. You can park there for as long as you like. The first two hours cost €1.00 per hour. After that\, it costs €2.00 per hour. A day ticket for parking at Parkeerveld Wantveld costs €15 between April 1 and September 30. From October 1 to March 31\, it costs €10 per day.
